Even in the middle of the winter. Deeply landlocked.
On this blog we’re all about creating your coastal lifestyle, wherever you live. This especially includes your personal space.
Here are 10 signs you should live in a beach house:
1. Color Me Beach Happy
You love all the colors of the beach — primarily whites, blues, greens, corals, and every shade in between.
Coastal decor gets its cues from water, land and sky. Because these colors work effortlessly in nature, you can confidently replicate this natural palette in your home.
You prefer casual stuffed furniture in beachy hues or Traditional Coastal slipcovered in crisp white fabric, accented with pillows in coastal motifs, blue and white cabana stripes or for a fun pop of color try bright coral or teal.
Table top wood lanterns in natural wood, whitewashed or painted beach tones add a lovely ambiance. Illuminate your love of the sea with blue glass table lamps.

Design your dream beach house
The signs that you should live in a beach house will probably never leave you. I hope not!
Dreaming of living in a beach house or renting one for a week or a long winter season is still my dream. Being less than a half mile from the beach may be as close as I get! That’s still a sweet dreamy life.
Keep renovating and decorating your space in a way that “feels” beach inspired all year long, wherever you live.
