As someone born and bred by the ocean, I love seeing Compass Rose decor ideas incorporated into home design. My writing desk (a treasured gift) features a Compass Rose inlay of various wood tones. Maybe it sounds a bit silly, but I feel grounded, at home you might say, every time I sit down to work.
